If so, you should consider sending them to one of our kids diving classes this year. Throughout the past several years, scuba diving has become increasingly popular with children. Not only does it improve their swimming skills, but also they receive training in an exciting and adventurous hobby that they can enjoy for life. The PADI Bubblemaker program introduces scuba as an activity that allows children to experience the underwater world. Under close supervision, participants swim around on scuba I shallow confined water – just like playing. Minimum age is 8 years old. Maxiumum depth is 6 feet in a pool. Bubblemaker to instructor ratio is 6:1. Recommended time is 60 minutes. This is great for Birthday parties. The kids love it, they get to play games and learn about scuba at the same time. Please contact us for pricing and other important information you should know. The PADI Seal Team program is an exciting underwater activity-filled introduction to the world of diving. The PADI Seal team gives children a chance to swim around underwater and experience adventure, discovery and thrills. It also provides parents with a structured program that lets their children develop skill, learn about the aquatic realm and have a lot of good, clean fun. It also keeps youngsters diving, learning and having fun until they are ready to enroll in the PADI Junior Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course. For PADI Seal Team they have to complete the first 5 AquaMissions comprise the program, to become a PADI Master Seal team member they have to complete 6-15 of the AquaMissions. Min age is 8 years old. Max depth is 12 feet in a pool with a ratio of 6:1. Recommended time is 1.5-2 hours. AquaMissions: - Become acquainted with scuba gear, signals, rules, and breathing underwater

- Clear a mask, buddy breath, inflate/deflate a bcd at surface using the power inflator.
- Regulator recovery from behind the shoulder & clear, establish neutral buoyancy underwater by fin-pivoting, & hovering
- Clear a snorkel, exchange from snorkel to reg & reg to snorkel at surface, swim at surface while breathing through a snorkel
- CREATURE ID - identify at least aquatic creature by name, & hand signals used to identify at least one aquatic creature
- ENVIRONEMENTAL SPECIALIST – demonstrate a feet-high, head low search position used in underwater cleanups, & basic search pattern used
- INNER SPACE – Neutral buoyancy
- NAVIGATION – compass setting, how to position an underwater compass, & estimate distance underwater using kick strokes
- NIGHT – basic dive light use
- SAFETY – perform a predive safety check with a buddy, cramp removals, throw a rescue line of float, buoyancy on surface for self & buddy, perform a rescue tow
- SEARCH & RECOVERY – underwater search patterns for lost objects
- SKIN DIVER – best way to breathe skin diving, clear water from snorkel, & important skin diving practices
- SNAPSHOT – basic uses of underwater camera using basic underwater photo compositions
- WRECK – buoyancy control again, how to measure a submerged object & record measurements on a slate
These AquaMissions are filled with fun games and challenges. Kids absolutely love them. Great for Birthday Parties, block parties, or weekend education & fun for the kids. Please contact us for pricing and other important information you should know. PADI Junior Open Water Diver course – same as PADI Open Water Diver course except they can start this class at age 10. However, after certified junior open water divers must not exceed 40 feet & must dive with a PADI professional or parent. PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course – same as PADI Advance course except you have to be at least 12 year old, and on the deep dive your max limit is 70 feet. PADI Junior Rescue Diver course – same as PADI Rescue course except the min age is 12. Classes start on July 14th and July 28th of this year. Our Master Seal Camp is pool training only and is not an open water course. Our Open Water & Project Aware course consists of open water diver class, plus the 5 missions from Project Aware Kids. Mission 1: public clean up, we will pick a park, beach, road, etc. to clean up trash. Mission 2: Recycling. Mission 3: Threaten animal report & letter to project aware telling why you like the animal and why it should be protected, you can even drawl a picture. Mission 4: Water conservation. Mission 5: Write letter to government or political official explaining concerns about environment. Space is limited so sign up now!
